Hace 16 años, en una conferencia, escuché la frase que marcaria la orientación de nuestra empresa: el futuro de internet son los contenidos. Poco después, Bill Gates, entonces omnipotente, a la vez que lanzaba Windows 95, publicaba un libro en el que pronosticaba que en un futuro próximo tendríamos, haciendo una traducción libre, toda la información al alcance de la mano.
Estas frases, oscuras en su momento, me acompañan desde entonces. Mientras tanto asisto y participo, muchas veces confuso y sorprendido, a menudo maravillado, a la vertiginosa evolución de este medio que puede con todo y afecta a todos.
Ahora, tras madurar durante un tiempo la idea, hemos decidido lanzarnos a la aventura de un blog al que hemos bautizado: Ciudadan@ Digital.
Con este título resumimos nuestra visión de la situación actual y la proyectamos al futuro.
Las terminales móviles nos conectan continuamente a internet y las aplicaciones en la nube nos permiten ya, y nos permitirán mucho más en el futuro, trabajar, formarnos, divertirnos, curarnos, comprar, vender, compartir, comunicarnos…, es decir, todo aquello que nos define como ciudadanos ya tiene o tendrá una dimensión digital.
Un ejemplo. Seguro que much@s de vosotr@s gestionais vuestras cuentas bancarias desde internet, si además tenéis un Smartphone conectado ¿para qué las tarjetas de crédito?.

La ciudadania digital, tiene tantas facetas que es muchísimo lo que nos queda por reflexionar, compartir, preguntar, aprender, experimentar…
